With monies raised from our fundraisers, membership and generous donations, we were able to do the following in 2022:

 

• Contributed $2000 to the Philoptochos of the 12 Apostles Church in Ferikoy, Istanbul to help them offer Easter meals and stipends to the impoverished Greeks there.

• Donated $2000 to the Federation of Expatriated Constantinopolitans, an organization that supports Greeks in Greece who fled from Constantinople leaving everything behind.

• Donated $2000 to the IOCC Ukrainian Crisis Response to assist our fellow Orthodox Christians during the war.

• Purchased a Xerox laser printer and Viewsonic projector for the schools in Imbros, Turkey that His All Holiness opened in 2015.  These schools educate over 60 Greek Orthodox children and were the first such schools to open in Turkey in over 50 years.

• Supported with a $1000 donation the rebuilding of the Balikli Hospital and Nursing Home in Istanbul, Turkey following the fire where so many Greek Orthodox elderly reside. 

• Gave $2850 in generous grocery store gift cards to needy families in the Chicagoland area for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
